As noted in an email to the acadlibs list, a new press release highlighting the 2nd anniversary of the SC Academic Virtual Library is available for distribution. South Carolina’s 210,000 students and faculty can use a large and increasing store of knowledge in core academic subjects, health sciences, and business, thanks to a program funded over the past two years by the General Assembly.

Especially at this time of year, it is critical to get the good word out about this important emerging resource. Please feel free to post or link to the release. Also, if appropriate, please send them to your campus administration and media relations or publications staff. You may want to consider working with your campus to make a release to public outlets such as local newspapers as well. If possible, customize your local releases with local reactions.
