PASCAL eSearch

PASCAL eSearch will give users scholarly, Google-like experience where they can search several different licensed library databases in one search. This greatly expands the use and efficiency of PASCAL resources. Through FY 2008-9, we offered the Research Pro engine from Innovative interfaces. We are currently re-evaluating products and hope to restore this capability in the near future.

Database Funding Status

In FY 2008-9, the legislature reduced funding for PASCAL's programs by 90% (more than $1.8 million). Universal access to many high value information resources that we provided to all of South Carolina's students and faculty was lost. However, through collaborative action, PASCAL libraries, their parent institutions, and partners have maintained important core levels of service. This page provides status information on these materials.
