In FY 2008-9, the legislature reduced funding for PASCAL's programs by 90% (more than $1.8 million). Universal access to many high value information resources that we provided to all of South Carolina's students and faculty was lost. However, through collaborative action, PASCAL libraries, their parent institutions, and partners have maintained important core levels of service.
