PASCAL is pleased to announce that the PAILS (Palmetto Academic Independent Library System) group has recently completed the implementation of its shared Integrated Library System. Coinciding with the end of their academic year, Erskine College went "live" with using circulation in their Millennium (Innovative Interfaces, Inc.) system. PAILS is a group of seven, private academic libraries that also includes the libraries at Benedict College, Coker College, Columbia International University, North Greenville University, Southern Wesleyan University and Voorhees College

This summer the PAILS libraries will begin using the Acquisitions module of Millennium and preparations have begun to integrate the schools into PASCAL Delivers. PAILS is expected to be a contributing member of the union catalog and borrowing framework during the Fall 2008 semester.
