In preparation for the upcoming legislative session, we are updating our informational materials. Two new FAQs have been posted to the PASCAL website. They provide general background and information.

Statewide Electronic Academic Library -- This is the Commission on Higher Education's Legislative Fact Sheet for 2007/2008. This document articulates the CHE rationale for establishing recurring funding for PASCAL Delivers, and Electronic Resources, and thus is the "official line" for the legislative season.

PASCAL & the Statewide Academic Virtual Library -- Provides an overview of PASCAL and our three core program areas: Electronic Resources, PASCAL Delivers, and the Digital Library Initiative. This document answers the slightly broader question, "What is PASCAL?"

Our hope is that these and other materials that are being prepared will help us coordinate our information sharing with stakeholders and those funding our program. Please let us know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions.
