| PASCAL "Members Access" website password changes |

At the beginning of January, we made an announcement about the redesign
of our website in order to prepare for more direct access to our
end-user oriented services such as PASCAL Direct, Collegiate DISCUS
resources, and the digital library initiative.
As we announced
then, another goal was to improve our communications and member
services tools. One aspect of this was consolidation and reorganization
of our membership site that can be found through the "members" access
link at the screen on the main website. In January, announced that we
shortly would be putting this members' access area behind a
consolidated password. We were a bit optimistic -- it has taken us a
bit longer than expected to be ready for this, but we are now finally
ready to implement this change.
Similarly, we are working on improved communications and member service tools that will be maintained behind a password-protected membership site. This will allow us to remove most of the "randomly" passworded places on the site and facilitate our distribution of information to you. We are distributing the new password to all member librarians who are on any of our listservs. You should receive this password by the beginning of next week.
